About me
I trained in dermatology in London and at Harvard University, Boston, Massachussetts and I have been a consultant since 1995. My first senior appointment was to University College Hospital and I then moved to Imperial College as Professor of Dermatology in 2002. Subsequently I was recruited to the St. John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals in London where I am now Head of Clinical Immunodermatology and lead for general and specialist medical dermatology. My particular interests include immunologically mediated skin disease, complex medical dermatology and some of the rare acquired blistering conditions.
I consult privately at 116 Harley Street (part of the London Clinic) in central London. My PA, Gillian O'Connell, is located in our office at 116 Harley Street and can be contacted on the number above should you have questions about your appointment or other arrangements at any stage. The clinic offers a pleasant environment and is fully equipped for dermatological consultation. The London Clinic has well equipped minor surgical facilities.
Occasionally patients with dermatological problems require admission to hospital. This can be arranged at a variety of locations, including the London Clinic, King Edward VII Hospital or the private patient ward at St. Thomas’ Hospital. The most appropriate location would be discussed with you and agreed should admission be thought necessary.
